Abstract
This study presents the synthesis, spectral analysis and in vitro antimicrobial evaluation of a new series of Schiff bases of 1,3,4-thiadiazole and 1,2,4-triazole (1-10). The structure of obtained compounds was confirmed by spectral analysis (IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR) and elemental analysis. All synthesized compounds were screened for their in vitro antimicrobial activities using the broth microdilution method against a panel of bacterial strains including Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria and yeasts belonging to Candidas pp.
